A big, heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and showed up for Highland Park’s Earth Day Litter Cleanup on Saturday, April 26!
Thanks to your time, energy, and community spirit, about 20 bags of litter were cleared from our streets, alleys, and parks—giving our beautiful neighborhood a much-deserved sparkle!
But the impact goes far beyond a cleaner community. Every piece of trash picked up was a small but powerful step toward protecting our environment, setting an inspiring example for future generations. When we care for our shared spaces, we send a strong message: this is a community where everyone belongs, everyone matters, and every small action makes a difference.
Want to keep the momentum going?
Join the Highland Park Community Litter Cleanup Crew!
We meet every second Tuesday of the month from May to October at the Highland Park Community Association for a community cleanup from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM (weather permitting). It's a great way to meet neighbors, make a difference, and enjoy a little fresh air while helping our environment thrive!
For more information or to RSVP with Tina, the lead for this project, at yourcommunity@hpca.ca. We’d love to have you with us!
Together, we’re not just picking up litter — we’re planting seeds of pride, positivity, and care that will ripple out into a safer, more inclusive, and greener future for all.
