Senior’s Luncheon

HPCA Senior’s Luncheon - Now on Saturdays!

Senior’s Luncheon is an opportunity for seniors to enjoy a nice meal, see familiar faces and make new connections in the community while also serving as a chance for community volunteers to give back in a meaningful way. This program is formatted to be as cost-effective as possible and is entirely grassroots, relying on the generosity of community partners and volunteers to bring us all together each month.

Luncheons are held on every third Saturday of the month. We require attendees to register prior to each luncheon to determine the appropriate quantity of food. Please see the table below with luncheon dates and their respective registration opening/deadline dates. There’s a luncheon every month except for August and December.

Luncheon program guidelines

  • The HPCA kindly requests that Seniors Luncheon participants not bring any guests who are not registered, as we will only have enough supplies for those who have registered.

  • No children are allowed at the Seniors’ Luncheon as the program is not formatted for child care or a children’s menu.

  • Late registrations cannot be accepted since the food supplied is based on the number of seniors registered for that month’s luncheon.

  • We cannot accommodate special meal requirements at this time. Please feel free to bring your own drinks or food to the luncheon; however, fees will not be waived for those who choose not to partake in the luncheon.

If you have questions about this program, please get in touch with the Seniors’ Luncheon coordinator, seniorscoordinator@hpca.ca.

The HPCA is proud to partner with Fresh Start Recovery to offer this program to the community. The Fresh Start team prepares the meal each month, and without their support, this program would likely not be possible. Thank you, Fresh Start Recovery! Find more information about their service here.
