When the temperature drops, our community outdoor rink needs a dedicated crew to bring it to life. We are looking for volunteers to join our Ice Rink Flooding Crew for the upcoming winter season.

Let’s be completely honest: this job is cold, it happens at night, and it’s hard work—but it is also one of the most rewarding ways to give back to our neighborhood. There is nothing quite like looking out at a glass-smooth sheet of ice the next morning knowing you made that happen for the neighborhood kids and skaters.

The Mission: Spraying and scraping the ice late at night or early in the morning when the temperature is optimal for a perfect freeze.
The Schedule: Highly weather-dependent. When the weather hits the freezing sweet spot, we text the crew to see who is available to help scrape and flood.
What you need: Warm layers, sturdy winter boots, and a resilient attitude. We supply the hoses, the scrapers, and the hot coffee/cocoa.
Perfect for: Night owls, winter lovers, shifts workers, or anyone looking for a great outdoor workout under the stars.
