Highland Park Community Association (HPCA) is looking for a friendly, organized, and community-minded volunteer to coordinate our popular Seniors' Luncheon Program.
Held on the third Saturday of each month (excluding August and December), this well-loved program brings local seniors together for an affordable meal, friendship, and community connection. The role requires approximately 5 hours per month, including 3 hours on-site (10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) and about 2 hours of flexible administrative work from home.
As the coordinator, you'll manage registrations, communicate with attendees, volunteers, and community partners, schedule volunteers, maintain attendance records and supplies, promote the program, and help create a welcoming, inclusive environment. Basic experience with Gmail and Google Forms is helpful, and training will be provided.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference by reducing social isolation, strengthening community connections, and supporting a valued program alongside a fantastic team of volunteers and community partners.
If you're passionate about building community and would like to get involved, we'd love to hear from you! Training provided!
