We know many of you like make donations at this time of year to help those in need. We have a suggestion for a way you can help some neighbours in your community directly--donate to the Buchanan School Christmas hamper program.
You may not know that Buchanan School has for many years at Christmas-time supported about 2 dozen families within their school population, with the assistance of the School Parents Association, Highland Park CA, and area churches.
So, if you want to give yourself a warm & fuzzy feeling, drop by Buchanan School to donate either cash, or a gift card to Superstore or Wal-Mart, and know that you are helping support a family of young children, who are your neighbours.
Drop off your donation at Buchanan School, 3717 Centre St. NW, anytime this week during school hours: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, or until 8 pm Wednesday Dec 16th & Thursday Dec 17th.
